From this definition we may assess that how important motivation is.

Entrepreneur run business to earn profit by providing the best services to his customers. As the ultimate purpose of business is to earn profit then it can be achieved only by coordinating organizational resources i.e, Capital, Human resources.

In real practice, A manager of Large-scale production firm want to get higher production from his employees, he needs to motivate them by; increasing their salary rate, decreasing labor hours, or giving them bonus on their marginal production.
MBO ( Management by Objective) is a concept used in management in which the employees are allowed to participate in day-to-day decision making. Though due to bureaucratic culture, or highly centralized organizational environment it is rare in practice, but in the light of management's concept if the organization use this concept (MBO) than how much the motivation level will increase in the employees? It needn't to explain.

A unique way to motivate the employees is Information Technology. Suppose a manager having a good management information system to be connected with his sub-ordinates and send and receive feed-backs on various burning issues of the organization. In this way the employees get motivate and the efficiency in any sort of task will improve.
One important thing that is ignored in almost all organization especially in public organization is lack of extra-working activities, like a trip arranged for employees to visit a certain area, or to play a friendly match among the groups or teams of the organization. It is an effective way to improve motivation.
In the last the most common way to motivate employees is to provide them up-to-date technical knowledge and skills is most common way but I believe in not sufficient for motivation.
All the tools and technique used in this article are helpful for a manager to motivate his sub-ordinate and in this way Profit will be earned and the goals and objective of the organist ion will be achieved
